About
Hola,
My name is Mary Beth Clark. I am a Spanish Teacher in Schoharie Central School and an adjunct professor at SUNY Cobleskill. I teach in the same high school that I attended from grades K-12, located in the same upstate NY rural community I was born and raised in. Paradoxically I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America. This is my way of sharing my life’s adventures with my family, friends and students.
My husband Patrick is a multi-instrumental musician. He enjoys playing Tex-Mex music on his accordion , French musettes and Irish ”diddlely-dee” on his concertina, and blues and Americana on his accoustic lap steel slide guitars. He has also frightened black bears in the Adirondacks with his penny whistle. His many interests include: stonecarving, story-telling, cooking ethnic food, and photography. He was born and raised on the “left” coast and is a dot of blue in a sea of red here in upstate NY.
As opposites so frequently attract we were drawn to each other in the inexplicable way of positive and negative ions. We are collaborating on this endeavor by drawing from his artistic ability and my love of travel and adventure to share with you our unique perceptions of our experiences.
